Letter Ideas - Promoting Lettings successes

Are you letting properties? Do you need more Landlord leads?

Typically when a homeowner considers moving, their default decision is to sell their existing property. Many have never considered what is involved in letting out a property. Perhaps they don't need to sell at all if someone could help them understand all of their options. 

This campaign takes a leaf out of the sales playbook and is all about promoting your successes to the owners of similar properties to one you've just let. 

It is likely that the owners of properties on the road or local to a recent let agreed rental property, have no idea the sort of yield they could expect if their property was on the rental market too. This information could be key to those people considering a move this year and the weigh up their options. 

Much like a Sales 20/20 campaign, in which you write to the owners of similar houses, letting them know property updates that could have impacted the value of their home, you would also need to write to the owners locally telling them that 123 Example Road has recently been let agreed for X pcm and similar properties could achieve X.

"If you're considering moving this year, talk to our team of dedicated lettings experts to see if you still need to sell your home". 

The filters you'd need to apply in Explorer would be;

  • The specific address of your let property, selected in the Explorer search bar.
  • 8th mile radius selected
  • Same property type ticked
  • Same bedroom number ticked
  • Owner Occupier ticked.
  • Not sold in at least 2 years (optional).

As with any off market campaign, results can happen over a longer period of time. So don't be disgruntled if you do not get calls right away. Continue to promote your successes as consistency is key here.
