      Why am I being logged out of Homesearch Pro? A Guide to Staying Signed In

      If you’ve been using Homesearch Pro and keep finding yourself logged out, don’t worry! We’ve got a simple guide to help you understand why it might be happening and what you can do to stay signed in.

      How Our Login System Works

      Once every 30 days, Homesearch Pro asks you to log in. Here’s how:

      1. Enter your email into the login window on Homesearch Pro
      2. Check your email for a link.
      3. Click the link to get back into the platform.

      Once you’re logged in, we store cookies in your browser to keep you signed in for the next 30 days. But sometimes, certain things can cause these cookies to disappear, logging you out early.

      Common Reasons You’re Getting Logged Out Early

      1. You’ve Logged In on Another Device

        • If someone else is using your login or you sign in on another computer or browser, this will log you out of your current session.
        • You can only be signed into one PC/Laptop and one mobile session at a time. Signing in somewhere else will kick your first session out.

      2. You’re Using Incognito/Private Browsing Mode

        • Browsers like Chrome, Firefox, and Safari have private modes that don’t save cookies (although we do not advise you using Safari for Homesearch Pro). If you’re using an incognito or private window, your browser won’t save the login information, and you’ll get logged out as soon as you close the window.

        • Some browser extensions or plugins are designed to clear cookies for privacy reasons. If you have one of these installed, it might be removing the cookies we need to keep you logged in.

      • Use only one device per session: To avoid being logged out, limit your login to one device (PC/laptop) and one mobile device.
      • Avoid private browsing: Make sure you’re using a normal browsing window so your login information stays saved.
