Filtering Prospector

Looking to do a quick on-market search in your area? Narrow your search using the filters provided.

On opening the ‘Prospector’ tab within Homesearch, it will automatically pull the information from your pre-selected patches or post code areas associated with your account (these can be updated by speaking to your account manager).

Further to this broad information you can refine your search parameters by using the filters at the top of the page. These can be set back to default at any time by refreshing the page.

Starting with Patch - Here you can select which results are visible from the dropdown menu and pick your chosen area(s) via the tick boxes.

The next option available is Price - As default this is set to ‘No min - No Max’ but can be refined if you know the range you are filtering.

Using the drop down menus for Min and Max options respectively, you can choose between a £50k minimum and £20m maximum. You are not forced into using both dropdown menus allowing for broader search criteria if desired.

Type is next - Type simply allows you to search for Houses, Flats, or both. Select your chosen option(s) using the tick boxes provided.

Beds - The beds option can refine your search options from Studio, or 1 through to 5+ on the number of bedrooms the property contains. Again, these can be left open for all results or refined using the tick boxes available.

Agents - Lastly we have Agents.

You have the options to filter for certain agents stock. If you know something your agency offers that another doesn't, you can contact certain agents stock with that message.

You also have the option to remove certain agents from the search results, for example if you have an agreement in place not to contact another agents' vendors. This as default is set to ‘0’ which does not hide any agents.

Selecting this option brings up a popup where you can type the names of your chosen agent(s) to remove, providing search results on full or partially typed names.

Confirmation of any selected agents to be hidden from your search results will appear under ‘Hidden agents’ and summarise the total number in brackets.

Change Key Dates - Select this to open a popup which really narrows your search criteria ranging from new, reduced, withdrawn, fallen through, number of weeks on the market covering a wide range of weeks, or under offer. Select the options that apply to your search using the tick box(es) provided and make sure to click ‘save’ in the bottom right hand corner.

From the final list of results after all your applied filters, you have the choice to deselect or select all via the same named option next to the button to send letters to the final list results, or alternatively, you can manually select your choices via the tickbox(es) all down the left hand side.
